DR steam locomotive class 52 #5679, Falkenberg (Elster) Historical steam locomotive 52 5679 of the Eisenbahnmuseum Falkenberg seen from the bridge crossing the tracks towards Wittenberg and Jüterbog. Built by Schichau and put into service 3 November 1943. Without withdrawal 52 5679 was brought back to the place of its longstanding use on 8 December 1988. In July 1989, this last not converted class 52 of the Bw Falkenberg was set up as a monument on a grassy area behind the engine shed. Photo taken Friday 8 August 2014.
