The preussian G8.2 55 3345 beyond the roundhouse of the former raildepot, and todays railmuseum of the DGEG, in Bochum-Dahlhausen. This locomitive was built 1915 by Henschel. (25/05/85) Die preussische G8.2 55 3345, vor dem Ringlokschuppen des ehemaligenBetriebswerkes, und heutigen DGEG-Museums, in Bochum-Dahlhausen. Die 55 3345 wurde 1915 von Henschel, mit der Fabriknummer 13345, gebaut. Sie war bis 1970 im Dienst der DB. We came upon 055 538 3 at Easter 1972, stabled in the yard at Gremberg shed, Koln. Photo beside the access road into the depot, the still-warm engine had recently been working, possibly a local freight-train or shunting in the nearby marshalling yards. Information available at the time of the visit suggested that few of the class were still active. 538 was relatively elderly, being one of a class built between 1910 and 1924 by Prussian Railways.
