The historic steam locomotive 94 1538 is waiting with a special train in the station of 
Gerolstein. In May 1998 94 1538 was rebuild in Meiningen, but today this former nice 
locomotive looks like many years of use.

Die Steilstreckendampflok 94 1538 wartet im Bahnhof Gerolstein mit ihrem Sonderzug auf 
die Abfahrt. Trotz ihrer kurzen Einsatzzeit, seit Mai 1998, sieht 94 1538 schon recht 
mitgenommen aus und man kann nur hoffen, dass der innere Zustand der Lok besser ist.
