<br>On occasion of the centennial of electrical tramway service in Darmstadt, there is a special steam train service between the Darmstadt castle and the Griesheim car barn on the weekends from July to September 1997. The train is to be seen here on 19. July in the Rheinstrasse in Darmstadt. Darmstadt saw regular steam tramway service from 1886 to 1922.
