5 April 1994, station: Karlsruhe Hbf, Germany Between 1991 and 1994, a number of local trains between Karlsruhe and Pforzheim were operated with the newly introduced VBK/AVG dual-system LRVs (although still under the authority of the DB), initially for test purposes and later as precursors to the replacement of all local trains on that line by light rail trains (now line S 5), which took place in 1995. One of these trains is train 6047 (Karlsruhe - Pforzheim), which is operated by LRV no. 809 of the VBK. 5. April 1994, Bf. Karlsruhe Hbf, Deutschland Von 1991 bis 1994 wurden einige Nahverkehrszüge zwischen Karlsruhe und Pforzheim mit den neu eingeführten Zweisystem-Stadtbahnwagen der VBK/AVG geführt (allerdings noch unter Betriebsführung der DB), zunächst zu Testzwecken und später als Vorläufer der heutigen Stadtbahnlinie S 5, die 1995 alle Nahverkehrszüge auf dieser Strecke ersetzt hat.
