Historic Cologne tramcar 407 runs up and down on a section of the terminal loop at the Thielenbruch museum on 10 September 2006. On this day the centenary of the Thielenbruch depot was celebrated. Being under preservation order since 1985, it was used as a depot until 1994. One part of it is in use as terminal station since 1995 (with platforms inside the old hall), the other was converted into the museum in 1997. Car 407 is known as "first electric" in Cologne, although it never operated there. It was built in Cologne in 1902 for Bonn, where it was in service until 1961, but it is quite similar to the first electric cars which were used in Cologne from 1901 on.
