The tail modules of the tunneling machine "Tosca", which will drill the eastern tube of the new underground line, seen from the front end on 22 April 2006. On this day, the parts of the shield were lifted into the starting pit at the station Bonner Wall. The parts of the shield had to be assembled in front of the western tube, as the opening in the cover of the pit does not span the eastern half. In the lower left corner a part of the front shield (Schneidenschuß) is visible, later the center shield (Mittelschuß) was placed behind it. After completion the whole shield had to be shifted to the eastern tube. The tail modules on the right belong to "Rosa", the other tunneling machine which will drill the western tube. The parts of its shield were lifted into the pit after "Tosca" was completed.
