DSB 1kl/2l vogn litra AB, København H, sommeren 1995.
Denne vogn var en af de sidste kupévogne med 1. klasse. De blev på daværende tidspunkt brugt i enkelte internationale løb (til Hamburg Altona og Hoek v. Holland), samt som supplement i Regionaltog (sjældent).

DSB combined 1./2. class car, type AB, in the Copenhagen Central Station, summer 95.
This was one of the last compartment-cars still with 1. class, most cars were de-classified in the mid-90's.

DSB 2.kl/Pakvogn med togservice-kupé litra BDk i tog i Nykøbing F. august 1993.
De fire vogne af type BDk/BDdk, blev i sin tid ombygget for brug i bådtog København-Kalundborg. De er i dag atter ombygget til 2 WRD og 2 WSD (se disse) og er således som Bc-t vognene blandt de sidste overlevende UIC-Y/B vogne.

Those cars were later rebuilt into WRD- and WSD cars, some of the few survivors of this range...

En del vogne havde til det sidste intakt RIC-mærkning. Vognene er nu alle solgt til Iran (enkelte museumseksemplarer, og de ombyggede Bc-t undtaget).

DSB 2.kl RIC-vogn litra B i Regionaltog, Østerport d. 9. maj 1996.
Vognene blev i deres sidste tid primært benyttet i de lange regionaltogsløb til Nykøbing F. eller Korsør. Vognene er nu alle solgt til Iran (enkelte museumseksemplarer, og de ombyggede Bc-t undtaget).

DSB nedklasseret 1.kl vogn litra Ba-x, København H, sommeren 1996.
Ba-x vognene stammer fra den sidste serie A-vogne leveret i 1974. De er, udover den almindelige ventilation, forsynet med et klimaanlæg. Efter ombetrækning af sæderne med blåt stof, blev de indsat som lokal- vogne i internationale tog, samt i diverse Regional- og IR-tog. Vognene er nu alle solgt til Iran (et par museumseksemplarer undtaget).

Interiør i Ba-x vogn, fotograferet i 1996. Disse nedklasserede A-vogne af den sidste serie fra 1974, fik nye sædebetræk og gardiner i blå og hvid, og anvendtes, sammen med Bk-x, primært som lokalvogne i EuroCity tog mod Hamborg.

Interior in former first-class car, type Ba-x, in 1996. These cars were reclassified from the latest series of type A cars, built in 1974. They got new seat-covers in blue and white, and were primarily used as local-cars in EuroCity-trains to Hamburg.

Interiør i Ba vogn, fotograferet i april 1996. Vognen er allerede ribbet for gardiner, og virker ret slidt. Denne vogn indgik i et Roskilde-Køge-Næstved tog, der bestod af et ME-lok, 1 Ba og 1 ABns -så skulle der da være trækkraft nok!

The train were a short local-train consisting of an ME-locomotive, one Ba type car, and one ABns type driving trailer. With 3300 HP this locomotive should be more than enough to pull that train!

Tidligere 1kl/2kl vogn type Bab på opstillingsterrænet ved Østerport Station i april 1996.

Former 1'st/2'nd combined, now pure 2'nd, type Bab, Østerport, copenhagen april 1996.
Those cars were, like most other former IC-cars, used mixed with Bn-type stock in commuter trains in the 90's.

DSB 2.kl vogn med togservice-kupé litra Bk-x (ex. Bk), i EuroCity-tog på København H i 1995.
Bk-x vognene fik som Ba-x'erne nye blå sædebetræk, og fik endvidere kiosken fjernet -pladsen blev brugt til lager for togstewardessen. Vognene anvendtes som lokalvogne i internationale tog. De er nu alle solgt til Iran (muligvis et museumseksemplar undtaget).

DSB Ba-car.
There are only a few cars of the Ba type left today. Compared with the standard B type: 10 2.class compartments, these used to be 1.class cars with only 8 larger compartments. After the introduction of the IC3 in 1990, they were re-classified to 2.class. There are also a small numbers of the Bab type; a combination-car: 5 2.class and 4 former 1.class compartments. The old Ba type were later made in a newer version, called the Ba-x.

Intercity cars at Korsør ferry station. A shunter is taking 5 of the cars to the ferry. They will then be sailed to Nyborg, where another locomotive will haul them and some local cars further on, probably to Århus and beyond.

DSB WRD 102 Ferieekspres/Skiløber Bar + bagagevogn, fotograferet på opstillingsterrænet ved København H i 2000.

Danish state Railways combined Bar- and luggage car type WRD, near the Copenhagen Central Station in 2000.
In the 80's four BD 2nd class- & luggage cars, were rebuild with a service-compartment for the Train-stewardess, and an enlargement of the luggage-room. Those four cars are some of the very few long-distance coaches still operational in Denmark. When enrolled into the Holiday-Express service, two cars had their compartments turned into couchette-compartments (the WSD), and two cars had a Bar installed (the WRD). The toilets, and emergency-braking system were rebuilt, and the livery were freshened up in the late 90's (brighter red, and the new DSB-Winged Wheel).
The WRD operates with the WSD & Bc-t cars in holiday-trains in the summer, and skiing-vacation trains in the winter, both taking them through several countries.
