DSB 51 86 89-70 001-2 S (S 1), royal coach built 1937 by
Scandia, interior designed by architect K. T. Seest in close
consultation with Queen Alexandrine. Originally it had the
coats of arms of Denmark and Iceland (until Iceland's
independence 1944). It is equipped with a salon, sleeping
compartments, bathroom and luggage room. In 1984 the car has
been modernized with rubber gangways, electric rear lights and
MD36 bogies allowing a speed of 160 km/h (originally 120 km/h).
Length 23.5 m, weight 44.6 t. In 2001 it was replaced by the
modern coach still in use today.

DSB S1 - The royal saloon car. This car was buildt in 1937 by Scandia, Randers to the danish king Christian X. Later it has been used by king Frederik IX, and now it is used by queen Margrethe II and her family, when they travel by train.

DSB S 8, royal saloon carriage built 1900 by Scandia and used
until 1937. Length 18 m, weight 38 t. This car was equipped
with different brake systems and used on international state
visits.
