At the 26'th of may 2006, with an Event called "DSB-døgnet", the Danish state Railways offered extremely cheap all-day tickets for all of Denmark for only 50 kroner (Approx. 6,50 Euro!). The ticket was valid for an unlimited use of all DSB-trains for 24 Hours! This offer was used by very many people, with stuffed trains and delays as a natural consequence ;-) I mainly used the day for going to the Danish Railway Museum in Odense. The largest DSB diesel-locomotives built in the 30's (by Frichs) was MX131 and 132. This is the preserved MX 132.

DSB sold all working Mx's to private railroads in Denmark a few years ago. Mx 1007 was one of the last in original DSB red/black paint. It was sold (as spareparts) together with DSB Mx 1038 to Skagens Banen in december 1994. Mx 1038 is now restored and used as SB Mx 10. DSB Mx 1007 is here seen at Holb‘k station. Now it's "dead".

him from the old days.)

DSB litra MY. This locomotive is identical to the MX, except that it
has a larger engine. Here MX 1057 is pulling out of Helsingør
station in October 1989. Note the overhead wire already in place.
DSB is in the process of electrifying their main lines. The first
one to be electrified was Kystbanen from Helsingør to Copenhagen.
