IC4 electric train set at Copenhagen Central Station, july 2004. IC4 trains are the electric version of the earlier introduced IC3, and are used both for regional traffic and express trains between Copenhagen and the southern parts of Danish province. They can operate as one train together with IC3. This is sometimes seen with Intercity trains leaving Copenhagen as one train, splitting up when reaching western parts of Denmark. Photo: Lars Bohn.
