Indvielsen af Flintholm station, d. 24/1 2004.
Dette imponerende bygningsværk samler Frederikssundsbanen, Ringbanen og Metroen under et svævende glastag på massive stålsøjler.
Interessant er også mødet mellem det nye og højteknologiske (Metro og High-tech station), og de gamle 2. generations S-tog.
De er stadig i daglig drift på Frederikssundsbanen og på Ringbanen, men i 2006 er det slut -når de nye SE-sæt er kørt ind.

Opening of Flintholm Station, Copenhagen, on the 24'th of january 2004.
This impressive piece of modern arcitecture, houses two crossing S-train lines and the Metro under one glass roof, on massive steel-pillars.
Also interesting is the old 2'nd generation S-trains (Type MM-FU-MU-FS), who will be completely replaced by the new 4'th generation (type SA and SE) in 2006.

MM-FS togsæt på Frederiksberg Station i 1996.
Hele to gange fortid: MM-FS findes ikke mere, og Frederiksberg har ikke længere S-tog.

MM-FS trainset (S-tog, 2'nd generation) at Frederiksberg Station, Copenhagen 1996.
Two times the past: Two-car trainsets type MM-FS doesn't exist anymore, and Frederiksberg doesn't have S-trains anymore.
Frederiksberg got something better for their needs though, the Metro. The Frederiksberg-line was an extremely short line-part from Vanløse, only a few miles long. Today, through the Metro, Frederiksberg is connected directly with the centre of the city, as well as Vanløse.

Second generation S-tog, Valby
Second generation S-tog train seen at Valby. Long distance tracks on the left. Valby station is centrally located next to Toftegårds Plads. It is located where the Tåstrup and Frederikssund radials diverge, and is served by trains on either radial. Some regional and intercity trains also stop at Valby, mainly to provide transfers to the Frederikssund S-trains. Photo taken Thursday 4 April 2002.

DSB EMU litra MM-FU-MU-FS. These trains, called S-trains, are used in the commuter traffic in and around Copenhagen. They were introduced in 1968. Newer types of S-trains also exist. Photo taken at Østerport station in October 1989.

S-tog and long distance trains, Calsberg brewery
S-tog and long distance trains passing the former Carlsberg brewery near Enghave. It was located about halfway between Copenhagen Central Station (København H) and Valby. Known in the movie The Olsen Gang on the Track: The three crooks shunted with their safe carriage of Franz Jäger Berlin on the tracks of Copenhagen and additionally left an excursion car of the police here. This led to the success of the police excursion, and to the rise of commissioner Jensen. Photo taken Thursday 4 April 2002. In the meantime the building has been demolished.
