Un tren regional diésel R-598 con destino a Málaga en el apeadero subterráneo de San Bernardo,
en Sevilla. Unos trenes confortables, de aspecto moderno, si bien ruidosos. Su velocidad máxima
es 160 km/h.
A regional DMU bound for Málaga in San Bernardo underground station, in Seville. These
trains are comfortable and modern-looking, although a bit noisy. Their top speed is 160 Km/h.

Mk1 (Class 594) and Mk2 (Class 598) DMUs "TRD" (Tren Regional Diesel) of RENFE-Regionales, seen at Sevilla-San Jeronimo.
Apart the end-faces, one can also spot differences in liveries and logos. This Mk2 TRD has aerodynamic end-faces, unlike TRD 594s. It has also been fitted with CAF tilting-system SIBI. One can notice some resemblance with X72500s of SNCF. Would-be AVE-120s (variable-gauge, 250kph, Mainline traffic) will have a very close outer aspect, with more central vestibules and 4 cars instead of 3, though. TRD 598s will run on fast regional services, primarily on routes already served with TRD 594s, which will be themselves displaced somewhere else.
