Class 252 (252 018) of RENFE-GL, seen with a Talgo 7 set in Lerida, shortly after the withdrawal of promotional services on the Madrid-Lerida HSL. These were to introduce VIPs to the new HSL before the intended beginning of revenue operations, but RENFE was forced to postpone most of them indefinitely, owing to serial technical failures.
Although the 1435mm/4ft8in tracks were well in place together with the 25kV-AC OHLE, one can see that the remodelling works had not yet reached completion, especially concerning the new canopy and platform fittings...
