Steam locomotive museum in Haapamäki. The collection includes (apart from
many Finnish steam locomotives) a Russian steam engine. The museum is located
next to the museum depot and scrapyard.

Scrapyard of the VR in Haapamäki. The "strategic reserve" of Finland has
recently been taken to this scrapyard, where the locomotives are waiting for
buyers. This yard is easily accessible for everybody, including railfans!

This Finnish Tank engine No.794 can be found at Ongar station in the U.K. on what used to part of
London Underground's Central Line but is now the Epping Ongar Railway. It was pictured in the sun on 16th May 2004.

Passenger tank locomotive Pr1 "Paikku" 776 operational with
a pair of passenger cars for tourists in Haapamäki Steam Locomotive
Park in July 1993. No. 776 is the only surviving
"Paikku". Pr1-series was built by Hanomag, Germany and Tampella, Finland
in 1924-26.
