Perch seats already turn out to be vulnerable. Actually, this area is seldom used by smokers, and more as a luggage-van... This picture is looking towards the side-corridor for the 5 semi-open, non-smoking, 6-seat compartments. The 2+1 seating, small smoking saloon is located further left, off-pic. 1st-class (Open-room/semi-compartment) Corail Téoz (A5t2u) car of SNCF-VFE, seen in the consist of the VIP inaugural service, which ran 1-2hrs ahead of Corail Téoz 4657/6 "Grand Sud" (Bordeaux St Jean--->Nice Ville), the very first scheduled Corail service to be upgraded to Téoz on this corridor.
