2nd class passenger car type B10, formerly 3rd class before 1956 (type C10). This rolling stock was delivered to the ETAT railways in 1910-1912, and orinally had a metallic frame and a wooden body. The Western Region of the SNCF "metallized" them between 1948 and 1952 (metallization of the 3rd type, in fact a real rebuilding). The last withdrawals occured in the beginning of 1981
The photo espacially shows one of the type of "reservation box" used on all the former ETAT passenger cars. These boxes were used to inform the passengers if the relevant place was reserved or not
