RIB-88 set (2nd-class/driving-trailer) of SNCF-Action Régionale (TER Rhône-Alpes), seen upon turnaround at Lyon-Perrache.

RIB-88s are actually ex-RIB 60 sets displaced from Paris Commuter traffic to TER duties.

To this end, they went through an extensive remodelling in 1988, with Z2-style interiors and an RRR-style cab.
<p>
Unlike the fleet used on TER Midi-Pyrénées, that of TER Rhône-Alpes has not gone through any complimentary overhaul thereafter.
