This formation features 1 X2800 at each end, with 2 XR6000 trailers in the middle. St-Romain de Popey. 27th November 2004.

SNCF X 2801 is seen in the station of Aurillac in July 1999. It just finished a "Tour du Cantal" and was ready to bring its last passengers to the stations of Vic, Le Lioran Murat and Neussargues where they joined the train in the early morning.

This Dmu X 2808 is bound from Neussargues for Aurillac. It is now descending the western ramp, after it crossed the mountain "Plomb du Cantal" through the tunnel of Lioran. These railcars will retire in a short future, after near 50 years of hard duties.
