Midi_E4002_Mulh01.jpg (117783 bytes)

Midi BB 4002, locomotive for 1500 V DC, built 1922 by Compagnie Électrique de France (Tarbes). The original painting was "porcelain white". This locomotive pulled the first 1500 V train in France, 1922 from Tarbes to Pau. I think these locomotives were later renamed to BB 1600. Maximum speed 70 km/h.
