• Background: ICN set, seen on IC 620 (Basel SBB ---> Genève Aéroport, via Neuchâtel, not calling at Lausanne), on the Airport-bound track (15kV-16 2/3 Hz AC).

On the new high speed railway line between Lyon Part-Dieu and Marseille Saint-Charles it reaches its maximal speed: 300 km/h! It is faster to travel from Geneva to Marseilles by TGV than by plane!
