NS ICE-3M vs. Thalys PBKA
Two high-speed monsters of 2 different countries line up at Bruxelles-Midi station.
The NS ICE-3M was built by Siemens/Bombardier (and thus in Germany) and the
Thalys PBKA was built by Alstom (and thus in France).The first isn't a big success
in Belgium because of the extra supplement and the SNCB sells tickets 20% more expensive
than the DB ! The second is a success in Belgium , but only to France.To Germany and the
Netherlands it is just to expensive and people prefer a classic international train above an HST.
