SNCF Emu Z 5300, lightly refurbished to be operated on regional services from Paris to Le Mans. "Région Centre" trainsets can be identified by their blue doors. Under a grey sky, this one is leaving Versailles, en route to Chartres and Le Mans. 31st december 2005

Bidassoa_5300_1.jpg (47576 bytes)

Class Z5300 EMU of SNCF, seen passing over the Bidassoa, which marks the French-Spanish border between Hendaye and Irun.

This is a stopping service of TER Aquitaine bound for Irun, pretty far away from the Southern suburbs of Paris where this unit began to run in the early-70s...

This pic was taken from the Spanish bank. France is accross the bridge.

RER C at Issy Val de Seine
This is an RER line C, series SNCF Z5300, to Gare de Austerlitz, seen passing through Issy Val De Seine (which is calling at this station). There is also an adjacent tramway which goes along the left bank of the Seine, via Sèvres and St. Cloud, and on to the terminus at the regional non-RER platform of Grande Arche de La Défense where SNCF Z6400 commuter trains can be seen, and head further to Gare de St. Lazare.

Other trains that call here are of the series SNCF Z8800.
