This locomotive becomes from the transformation of the DMU  Billard n° 114 built in 1938, this transformation was made in 1955

The metric CFC has three similar locomotives. The engine 406 is a former standard gauge vehicle from the Speno rail grinding train. On the 2nd of Decembre 2004 she stands in Corte with an empty rail train.

Old Billard motor car 513 (formerly used for departmental services) and locomotive 114 (build on the frame of a Billard motor car) are seen dumped in the depot of Calvi. They have been withdrawn from active service but have not yet been scrapped.

Chemins de Fer Corse BB 60005 stationned in Corte with a work train. 12 used locomotives on this type were purchased in Romania by the Chemin de Fer Corse to support the extensive track improvement program over the last 4 years. CFC tracks are now in excellent shape as far as I could see from Corte to Ajaccio
