This photo is taken inside the shed of the old Gare du Sud in Nice and shows one of the old Renault autorails. At the time this photo was taken this autorail was typically used for relief when one of the other autorails failed. At the time it was the oldest diesel rail car in commercial (not tourist line) service in France.
The station has been replaced by a new station one block west where the servicing facilities had been.
