This single track is the former branch from Fontoy (on the Thionville-Valenciennes lines). Passenger traffic was axed in 1939, while freight went in 1995.
<p>
Interestingly, this route makes a tight loop to the West, so as to reach the bridge which one can spot in the background, very close to the French-Luxemburgish border.
