France – Cognac: The former steam locomotive shed at Cognac still stands (together with an attached level crossing keeper’s cottage), in use by the small diesel shunter that works the extensive yards in the town, virtually all of which are dedicated to traffic connected to the production of Cognac. Shunter Y 8336 was in residence, 16 April 2006.
