An Arriva Trains Wales shuttle service departs Newport station in South Wales for Cardiff Central. One of two services operating to cover extra demand due to Rugby Union's Heineken Cup final between Munster and Biarritz at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium, this train consists of three coaches in unbranded Virgin Trains red and black livery, and two in Arriva Trains Wales turquoise livery. The coaches are top and tailed by Class 47 deisel locomotives 48715 Great Western in British Railways two-tone green livery and 47839 in an unbranded dark blue livery. This photograph shows 47815 and the first of the Arriva Trains Wales-liveried coaches at the western end of the consist.
