Mk2 Lounge car used on the Caledonian Sleepers, awaiting departure at London Euston to the Far North on the London-Aberdeen/Inverness/Fort William.

Those cars were rebuilt from normal Mk2s in the mid-80s by British Rail, in an effort to enhance its Sleeper services. They were reliveried in 1999-2000.

The livery applied is to promote Tourism in Scotland, although such cars do not run very much with daylight south of the Border...
