Departing at platform 1 of Newport station in south Wales is an Arriva Trains Wales shuttle service between here and Cardiff Central. One of two services operating to cover extra demand due to Rugby Union's Heineken Cup final between Munster and Biarritz at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium, this train consists of three coaches in unbranded Virgin Trains red and black livery, and two in Arriva Trains Wales turquoise and cyan livery. The coaches are top and tailed by Class 47 deisel locomotives 48715 Great Western in British Railways two-tone green livery (seen at the western end approaching the bridge on the right of the photograph) and 47839 in an unbranded dark blue livery.
