Farewell to Mk2s and Mk3s on Virgin West Coast. 2 Mk3 Driving/Luggage Trailers (DLV) of Virgin West Coast, seen at London-Euston. These cars were introduced in the late-80s, so as speed up turnarounds ar termini stations. It appears that Virgin West Coast has had to hire in some Anglia Mk 2 stock whilst some modifications are made to Pendolinos so the Virgin/Anglia combination can now be seen at South Kenton as well as at Stratford. It is running in reverse order with the DVT leading and a class 87 pushing on the 16th August 2004.
