Farewell to the greyish 90s...

Interiors of a Mk4 First-class/Restaurant/Buffet car (SV, Service Vehicle) of GNER, seen at London King's Cross, awaiting departure to Edinburgh.

This car has a galley with a small buffet counter. There is also a First-class saloon, visible here. It is used to offer a full Restaurant service available to passengers of both classes. First-class passengers may however have priority at peaks.

This is probably one of the very few airline-style seats of Mk4 cars in First-class. The table is fixed, not tip-up.

This car will soon be refurbished in the frame of "Project Mallard".
