while being hauled through Burntisland, Fife by 56067 on Wednesday 8th July 1998, several HAA coal hoppers towards the rear of the 7G64, 05:23 Mossend/Millerhill - Longannet P.S M.G.R (coal) service, comprising of a total of 27 such hoppers, became derailed at around 06:35, severely damaging around a 1/4 mile of trackwork and with 2 hoppers coming to rest on their sides and completely shedding their loads in the process. This view, taken from the park later on that morning, shows wagon No:356703 which was the wagon in front of the one which toppled through the wall. Note the missing buffer head on the far right.
