MK1 NB/BG - High Security Brake Van.

94403, which is mounted on B4 coil spring fabricated bogies, stands at

Carlisle on Wed 28th Oct 1998 at 09:09.
This vehicle was originally a MK1 ND/BG - Gangwayed Brake Van (90mph), No: 84479 (81479) which was modified to 92629, a NF/BG - Gangwayed Brake Van ( 100/110mph) with guards safety equipment removed. From this condition it was further modified to it's present condition by fitting of sealed gangway ends, new floors, built in tail light & roller shutter doors.
