Didcot Railway Centre is the living museum of the Great
Western Railway.
British Rail diesel locomotive 18000 is a prototype gas
turbine electric locomotive, built in 1946 in Switzerland.
It was in daily use until December 1960. It went back to
Switzerland but brought to Didcot once again in 2011.
