A close up of the nameplate on Class 31 Diesel locomotive 31601 "The Mayor of Casterbridge". This locomotive is used by Wessex Trains for the Heart of Wessex services from Bristol to Weymouth which call at Dorchester, the Casterbridge of Thomas Hardy novels.
