Class 35. D7018 in the early days of diesel preservation at the Didcot Railway Centre in July 1977. There was a visit to the depot as part of a steam special with Clun castle from Birmingham. The special started from St. Pancras by diesel to Birmingham, Clun Castle to Didcot, diesel to Newport, Clan Line to Shrewsbury and then 45041 "The Royal Tank Regiment" to Euston. <P>
