An Arriva Trains Wales shuttle service between Newport and Cardiff Central emerges from the tunnels on the eastbound approach to Newport Station in South Wales. In a welcome change from today's unit-dominated railway, Class 37 diesel loco 37425 is leading with Class 50 50049 on the rear and four Arriva-liveried Mark 2 coaches in between. Both locomotives are in BR Large Logo livery. The shuttle service is to cater for the extra demand generated by the Rugby Union Heineken Cup final between Munster and Biarritz at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium.
