EWS 37426 growls into Waverley station to meet RES 47 47733 <B> 'Eastern Star' </B> sitting chugging in its way. The 37 remained here for a while  during which the staff got out and then in again in quickly to avoid an approaching 158. Then it reversed ear-splittingly loud into Calton hill tunnel, returning a while later to pass the 47 by on the adjacent line. 7/10/2002
