This is now regretably a RARITY...an EWS class 37 on any train in and around the London area or in the the S.E. generally. EWS have over the past few months reduced its 37 use to just 37 4s in S.Wales, Scotland and one or two in the Midlands, resulting on only about 12 remaining in active service. Here we see 37427 clagging nicely as it approaches Tilehurst with an Eastleigh to Didcot engineering train on the 18th March 2005. It did not stay long before heading north again though.
