Class 37 seen at Derby on a freight duty April 2000. Looking rather grubby these engines are in their twilight years in the UK though some survive working in France on the construcion of the new LGV lines.

37890 in Mainline Grey livery arrives at Didcot with a Ministry of Defence or M.O.D. train. This is the second '37' arrival in a few minutes so this cannot be bad. The date is Wednesday 20th August 2003.

37890 is we believe one of the few class 37's that have returned to traffic in the U.K. after working in France on a new high speed line. OK, so it looks a bit tatty... but it still sounds good...and Mainline Grey is an unusual livery these days. It was on a charter train along with 37706 and was pictured at Doncaster on Saturday 26th July 2003.
