40145 passes through Harringey on the way to the nearby sidings for servicing. The paint
on the loco was so new and shiny ...we thought we could actually smell it! We have certainly never
seen a British loco before with a similar advertisement attached to it, but if it helps to keep the loco
in top condition and covers the costs of a re-paint then you cannot blame people for taking advantage
of it. It did though come as a shock we suspect to many lineside enthusiasts on the outward trip, but for
the return journey it was removed. The date is Saturday 6th September 2003.
