Class 44 "Peak" number 4 Great Gable was undergoing another identity crisis when seen at the East Lancashire Railway on 27th June 1998. One side of the loco had been given the number and name of 1 Scafell Pike. The loco has also masqueraded as D5 in the past, when painted green.
