Class 47/4 in two tone BR Green. Brush type 4 1592 which was later renumbered 47544 with a down Plymouth District express passes Southall MPD on a Saturday morning in June 1972. A Mark I full brake (BG) was marshalled next to the engine and the next two carriages are early Mark II TSOs. I was spending the last few hours photographing trains before catching an Air Canada flight home. <BR> Notice the AEC (Home of London's Buses) sign and factory just above the locomotive.<P>
