47853 in XP64 livery is about to take us from London Paddington to Manchester Piccadilly in the Summer of 2002.
This was the only loco to ever carry this experimental livery having done as D1733 in the 1960s. A heritage repaint was
therefore well in order to mark VXC ending class 47 hauled trains.
