47701 'Waverley' on display at the South West Trains Bournmouth depot open day on Saturday 16th May 1998 at 10:58.
This loco is owned by Alan & Tracey Lear but managed orerational by Fragonset Railways who have currently leased it on to Virgin Cross Country.
This loco is also one of the original batch of Class 47/7's (47701-712 first series batch) that were converted for push-pull operation with MK2 DBSO's on the Edinburgh - Glasgow services back in the early 1980's, however it was originally named Saint Andrew' back then with 47708 carrying the original 'Waverley' name.
