Saltash Bridge. In June 1971 the only part of the Paddington-Penzance mainline that was single track was the portion over Brunel's magnificent bridge at Saltash. This is Class 52 Western Hydraulic powered up passenger train approaching the bridge. The photo was taken using a half frame pocket camera stuck out of the ventilator window.  <P>
