Shortly before the Deltics were withdrawn at the start of January 1982 a number of railtours
were run to mark the event one of these being The Deltic Fenman II. This travelled around East Anglia
before ending up on the Nene Valley Railway followed later by a non-stop high speed run back down the East Coast Main Line.
