Over the first weekend of March 2007, the Nene Valley Railway held their 'Spring Diesel Gala' event which seen 3 preserved Class 56's in action on the railway. In this view, taken on Sat 3rd March 2007 at 08:03, Loadhaul liveried 56003 runs out of the yard at Wansford as Railfreight 'Red Stripe' liveried 56098 idles in front of the main shed while emitting a smokescreen of exhaust.
