Class 58's were taken out of service with EWS in September 2002. Two have since gone to Spain and a third one to Holland. The pioneer 58001 was given a re-paint into the popular Large Logo Red Stripe Railfreight livery for the Doncaster Open Weekend. Whether the loco will actually run again has to be seen though.
